Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 200ml milk
  • 30 g sugar
  • 2/3 vanilla bean

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla bean by cutting it in half and removing the seeds, pour the milk into a pot, put the vanilla bean, and simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Put egg yolk and sugar in a bowl and mix until the color is light and thick, pour 1/2 of boiled milk and mix quickly.
  3. Put (2) in the milk in the pot and boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until it becomes thick.
  4. Transfer to a bowl, cover and cool in the refrigerator.

Notes

  1. When the cream on the spatula is drawn with your finger, if there is a line, you are done!!
