In Cooking Tree, we’re serving up delicious Maple fruit cake (Apple pound cake), and we’ll show you how to make it from scratch.

I made a maple fruit cake topped with fresh fruit by sanding maple cream on a pound sheet with apples~

Putting cinnamon and boiled apples on the sheet give it a good flavor and the sheet is moist, so it is much more delicious~^^

The cream cheese cream with maple syrup tastes really good with the sheet, so I keep getting my hands on it~~
I think it turned out to be a rich and eye-catching cake when decorated with delicious and coveted fruits~*^^*

I sprinkled maple syrup on the cake at the end, but the cream dripped a little as time passed because the syrup was soaked in the cream.

If you omit the maple syrup for decoration, I think you can make a cake that maintains a prettier shape~

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple (about 250g)
  • 20g Sugar
  • 30ml Lemon juice
  • 1/4ts Cinnamon powder
  • 225g Unsalted butter
  • 100g Brown sugar
  • 70g sugar
  • a pinch of Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3g Vanilla extract
  • 250g Cake flour
  • 7g Baking powder
  • 100g Whipping cream
  • 10g Sugar
  • 200g Cream cheese
  • 20g Maple syrup

Decorating:

  • Strawberry
  • Cherry
  • Blueberry

Instructions

  1. Put the diced apples, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon powder in a pot and boil it.
  2. Soften unsalted butter, add brown sugar, sugar, and salt and mix. Divide the eggs and mix. Add vanilla extract and mix.
  3. Sift the soft flour and baking powder and mix, then add the boiled apples and mix.
  4. Divide the dough into 3 and bake for 25 minutes in an oven at 180 degrees (preheated for about 20 minutes at 190 degrees) to make 3 sheets, turn over and press lightly to flatten and cool.
  5. Whip the whipped cream, then add cream cheese and maple syrup and whip it to make cream.
  6. Apply cream on the sheet, repeat and decorate with fruit.
