Last time I went to Maritel I made tteokbokki with white housewife’s oil. It’s really super simple. It tastes great! If you have two types of red pepper powder, coarse and fine 1 tbsp coarse, 1/2 tbsp fine I only have coarse red pepper powder I only put the thick ones.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tteokbokki rice cakes
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1+1/2 tbsp red pepper powder
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp green onion
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
  2. Add cooking oil and fry over low heat
