Christmas Butter Cookies Recipe

โ€“ 120g Unsalted butter โ€“ 60g Powdered sugar โ€“ 1.5g Salt โ€“ 25g Egg โ€“ 4g Vanilla bean paste โ€“ 150g Cake flour โ€“ 50g Almond powder โ€“ 3g Cocoa powder โ€“ Food coloring (white, green, red)

1. Cream together the room temperature butter and sift in the sifted powdered sugar. 2. Mix in the salt, then beat in the egg and vanilla bean paste.

3. Fold in the flour and almond meal. 4. Divide the batter into 3 separate bowls, reserving 2/3 of the batter.

5. Sift the cocoa powder into the 2/3 of the batter and stir to combine. 6. In a small bowl, make white, green, and red dough.

7. Place the dough between pieces of parchment paper, flatten with a rolling pin, and chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
