How to make Tart sheet (pie dough)

In Cooking Tree, we’re serving up delicious Tart sheet (pie dough), and we’ll show you how to make it from scratch.

This is a basic tart, pie sheet dough video ^^ I made it crispy and more savory by adding almond powder! It goes well with both pies and tarts, so I think it’s a good dough to use.

Tart sheet (pie dough)

Ingredients

  • 200g Flour
  • Almond powder 30g
  • Salt 2g
  • 130g Cold butter
  • 60g Cold water

Instructions

  1. Sift wheat flour + almond powder + salt.
  2. Add cold butter and mix with a scraper.
    (Until the butter is mixed with the flour and becomes small, crumbly)
  3. Add cold water and make a lump, put it in a ziplock bag, flatten it, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  4. Coat the dough after resting with flour, spread it out, attach it to the tart pan, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Make a hole with a fork before baking.

Notes

  1. Bake only tart sheet: 20-30 minutes in a 180 degree preheated oven
  2. Please use the butter and water in a cold state.
