Hazelnut Chocolate Cake Recipe

I made a chocolate cake by sanding chocolate cream and hazelnuts on a chocolate pound sheet and coated with ganache filled with hazelnuts~

There are a lot of hazelnuts in the ganache, so it tastes like Ferrero Rocher~^^

It’s a pound cake sheet baked with meringue, so it’s moist and soft, and I think it went well with the cream and was delicious~^^

Hazelnuts added texture to the soft sheet, and the chocolate chips decorated on top were crispy, so it was fun to eat~
Chocolate chips are made by Trianon~~

It’s a sweet and dark chocolate cake, so it’s delicious to eat with coffee, and I think it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day~*^^*

Hazelnut Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 135g Unsalted butter
  • 70g Sugar
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 2g Vanilla extract
  • 120g Cake flour
  • 15g Cocoa powder
  • 7g Baking powder
  • Meringue (3 egg whites + 30g sugar)
  • 80g Dark chocolate
  • 40g Whipping cream
  • 1g Gelatin sheet
  • 25g Hazelnut
  • Whipped choco cream (150g whipping cream + 15g sugar + 15g cocoa powder)
  • Chocolate chip

Instructions

  1. Soften butter, add sugar and mix, then add egg yolk and vanilla extract and mix.
  2. Sift the flour and mix. Divide the meringue into 3 portions and mix.
  3. Put it in an oven pan, bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 35 minutes, cool it, cut it, and cut 6 sheets with a 7cm mold to prepare.
  4. Chop the hazelnuts into small pieces.
  5. Place the whipped chocolate whipped cream and hazelnuts on the cake sheet and place another sheet on top. Repeat one more time and smooth the sides.
  6. Melt the minced dark chocolate and whipped cream in a microwave for about 40 seconds, then add gelatin soaked in cold water for at least 10 minutes and mix, then add chopped hazelnuts and mix. Cool down lukewarmly.
  7. Apply (6) to the top of the cake, harden it slightly in the refrigerator, and decorate with chocolate cream and chocolate chips.
