Cream Cheese Cake Recipe

I made a cream cheese chiffon cake with cheese and a nice savory flavor~.
I think adding cream cheese definitely makes the chiffon more moist and tender.

I sprinkled a lot of Grana Padano cheese on the top and baked it, and the cheese puffed up naturally and turned golden brown.

The cheese is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, so you can feel the two different textures.

Cream Cheese Cake

Ingredients

  • 60g Cream cheese
  • 40g Milk
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 3g Vanilla extract
  • 30g Vegetable oil
  • 65g Cake flour
  • 1g Baking powder
  • 3 Egg whites
  • 3g Lemon juice
  • 65g Sugar
  • 20g Grana padano cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the cream cheese and milk in the microwave for about 20 seconds to combine.
  2. Whisk the egg yolks with the vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Add 1 and mix in the vegetable oil.
  4. Sift in the flour and stir to combine.
  5. Beat the egg whites with the lemon juice and add the sugar in 3 parts to make a meringue.
  6. Fold in 1/3 of the meringue.
  7. Add all of the meringue to the bowl and mix evenly.
  8. Pour the batter into the chiffon mold.
  9. sprinkle with grana padano cheese.
  10. Bake in a 170-degree oven for about 35 minutes.
  11. Turn the mold upside down and let it cool.
