Coffee Bean Cookies Recipe

I made a cookie with a coffee taste that resembles a coffee bean ~
I made a lot of coffee in a cute shape with a small size, but it tasted slightly bitter and sweet.

Make the dough and immediately shape it, harden it sufficiently in the refrigerator, and then bake it so that it doesn’t spread much.

I have to make the shape longer than I thought and make it longer, so it looks more like a bean ~
You can adjust the amount of coffee little by little depending on your preference, or it may be good for children to make cookies by mixing cocoa powder with milk instead of coffee.

I made it as small as 5g per piece, but if the size is bigger, the baking time is also increased a little.

Coffee Bean Cookies

Ingredients

  • 15g Hot milk
  • 7g Instant coffee powder
  • 100g Unsalted butter
  • 90g Powdered sugar
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 155g Cake flour
  • 15g Cocoa powder
  • 30g Corn starch

Instructions

  1. Add instant coffee powder to hot milk and mix.
  2. Gently loosen the unsalted butter, add sugar powder and mix, then add the egg yolk and mix.
  3. Mix the milk and coffee mixture and mix it with sifting flour, cocoa powder, and corn starch.
  4. Divide the dough into 5g, shape it, put it on an oven pan, cut it in the middle, and harden it for about an hour in the refrigerator.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes in an oven preheated to 160 degrees.
