I made chocolate chip cookies with upgraded flavor by adding brown butter.
I decorated the cute roll wafers before the cookies cooled down, but eating the cookies with the wafers made it even more delicious.

Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie
Ingredients
- 120g Unsalted butter
- 100g Brown sugar
- 50g Dark brown sugar
- 2.5g Salt
- 1 Egg
- 5g Vanilla extract
- 2g Instant coffee powder (Optional)
- 3g Baking soda
- 2g Baking powder
- 250g All-purpose flour
- 100g Chocolate
- Roll wafer
Instructions
- Boil the butter until it turns light brown.
- Strain through a sieve and place in a bowl to cool for about 20 minutes.
- Add brown sugar, brown sugar, and salt and mix
- Add eggs, vanilla extract, and instant coffee powder and mix.
- Add baking powder and baking soda, mix, sift flour, and mix with a spatula.
- Add chocolate chips and mix.
- Flatten rounds by hand and place them on an oven pan.
- Bake in a 170-degree oven for 14 to 15 minutes. (Preheat 190 degrees)
- Remove from the oven and decorate with rolled wafers.
